    Technical Buyer, Mthatha, RNeg + ben+ Company housing

      • Grade 12
      • Diploma in purchasing
      • Minimum 3 years' experience in Buying within an engineering or manufacturing environment
      • Cost Reduction
      • High ERP system acumen
      • SAP – (would be an advantage)
      • Super User Excel
      DUTIES
      • Ensure that procurement is done according to the companies Procedures and acceptable Auditing Standards
      • Deliver a professional service to internal customers and ensure that the required items are available on time and at the optimum price
      • Strong technical knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes and components and supply chain management
      • Contract management and supplier experience
      • Ensure that an efficient buying service is rendered at all times
      • Expediting outstanding/overdue orders
      • Identify new and alternative suppliers and products
      • Update, monitor and manage stock levels
      • Ensure that all administrative systems are up to date and conform to policies
      • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment
