Hydraulic Specialist, Eastern Cape, Rneg + Ben + Company housing

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent or Trade Tested with 10 years working experience
Maintaining accurate records, filing system
Providing engineering direction and technical engineering assistance with regard to hydraulic design
System design, writing specifications
Drafting schematics using standard fluid power symbols
Designing systems
Providing technical support and training at Client's 3 Different Operations
Conducting hydraulic product reviews
Based in Eastern Cape but Extensive Travelling Nationally

The job of a hydraulic specialist is to help design hydraulic systems and fluid power systems used for industrial manufacturing equipment and heavy-equipment production.

As a hydraulic specialist, you may also provide assistance to sales teams and provide training and outreach to customers to familiarize them with the function of hydraulic systems and solicit their advice on how to improve products or develop new ones.

You collect and analyze data about hydraulic systems and help model and prototype new designs before bringing them into wide-scale production.

Provides engineering specialist direction and technical engineering assistance with regard to hydraulic design and engineering throughout the development, management and execution of assigned projects
Involved in system design and gives input on writing specifications
Sizes and selects hydraulic components for mobile and industrial operating machinery
Drafts schematics using standard fluid power symbols
Designs systems which are drafted to fluid power essential practices supported by 3 National Plants
Provides technical support and leadership in areas including material selection, structural requirements and Training at different Client Operations National
Conducts hydraulic product reviews for improvement and further development of existing product designs
Identifies hydraulic quality and reliability issues to implement solutions and issue formal recommendations
Supports the implementation and execution of technical recommendations
Prepares product development criteria in accordance with management objectives, working with suppliers as
