Our client, an insurance broker based in Germiston is looking for a Portfolio Manager.
Key

Responsibilities:

Manage and optimize the company's trucking portfolio to achieve financial goals and objectives.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of market trends, competitor performance, and industry regulations to inform portfolio strategies.
Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential financial losses and optimize portfolio performance.
Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, operations, and sales to ensure alignment of portfolio strategies with overall business objectives.
Evaluate investment opportunities and make recommendations for portfolio adjustments based on thorough financial analysis and risk assessment.
Monitor and report on portfolio performance, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, particularly in relation to RE5 certification standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to support business growth and retention.

Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 12- FAIS compliant: RE5 & NQF- A minimum of 3 years appropriate transport experience

Presentation and computer skills
Drivers license
Multilingual
IsiZulu, Sotho, English and Afrikaans
Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance particularly in the transport sector

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
R25 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
