We are seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations for our client based in Umhlanga.


Key Responsibilities:

Team Management:


  • Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
  • Schedule employee shifts and manage payroll.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and development to team members.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.

Customer Service:


  • Ensure that all customers receive prompt and courteous service.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement strategies to improve service quality.

Sales and Inventory Management:


  • Set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

Store Operations:


  • Oversee daytoday store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations.
  • Manage store budgets and expenses effectively.

Marketing and Promotions:


  • Plan and execute promotional activities to drive sales and increase foot traffic.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of marketing efforts and adjust strategies as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a retail store manager or similar role.
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks.
  • Knowledge of retail management best practices and techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pointofsale (POS) systems.

Additional Requirements:


  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Salary:

R Commission

Up to R10 000,00 per month
