Factory/ Production Assistant - Meat & Manufacturing Industry
Purpose of the role
The factory assistant plays a key role in day-to-day operations of the business. The role of the factory assistant is to assist in the factory, making various products.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow strict hygiene measures, wear protective clothing, and wash and sanitize hands regularly
- Clean as you go when working with products
- Put orders together as per the order sheet
- Report all shortages to manager or superior
- Keep a high standard of products prepared
- Control waste, meaning do not leave any product open and unattended
- Operate and use dangerous objects like knifes and machines
- Report to manager any injuries incurred while following out duties
- Any ad hoc duties given to you by your supervisor or manager
Skills and Qualifications:
- A valid Matric Certificate.
- Excellent communication skills, problemsolving and interpersonal skills.
- Accurate and attention to detail.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Able to work in a team.
- Physically fit.
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Expertise in team or department.
- Firm grasp of company policies.
