A relevant and recognised qualification at NQF Level 6 on the 10 Level NQF in Finance/ Business Management/ Commerce/ Supply Chain management or related will be an added advantage.


  • A minimum of one year experience in Supply Chain Management/ Finance/ Accounting or a related field is required for this position.
  • More than one year of experience in Supply Chain Management/ Finance/ Accounting or a related field will be an added advantage.
  • Extensive knowledge of PFMA/ PPPFA, National Treasury regulations, ACCPAC, Supply Chain Management principles, contract management and understanding GRAP/GAAP accounting principles, should be the strengths of those aspiring for this appointment.
  • The incumbent must also demonstrate the following skills and attributes: Project management, attention to detail, report writing, problemsolving, analytical and negotiation skills.

Duties :

  • Administer and implement terms of contracts and track Service Level Agreements in respect of price, total spend and budget constraints,
  • Provide support during tender processes by opening envelopes, recording submissions, and administering compliance with SCM procedures and principles,
  • Continuously update and maintain SAQA's supplier data base on the relevant electronic system,
  • Develop progress reports in respect of procurement processes, procedures, system status, etc,
  • Administer and execute stationery/ office requirement orders from internal clients by receiving, capturing, and processing requests as well as procuring and delivering items ordered,
  • Update supplier contracts register and related logistics,
  • Assist with crafting RFQ's, RFP's, and SLA's, for submission and approval,
  • Assist with preparation of all documents for submission and approval to ensure that SCM operations are up to date.
