A leading hedge fund management firm is in need for a junior/ intermediate Data Integrity Analyst to join their thriving team.

Purpose of the role
Support the PAS Operations team with data integrity checking on instructions and assisting with operational projects
Minimum skills and knowledge required

SQL knowledge
Min 3 years experience in investment and planning environment and LISP experience
Min 3 years data integrity experience
Knowledge of financial services industry and products
Relevant post matric qualification
Responsibilities | Skills
KPA/ STRATEGIC BUSINESS DELIVERABLES
Investigate and correct integration issues relating to data recons and data reconciliations
Identify discrepancies or inconsistencies in data reconciliations.
Analyze the integration processes and data flows to determine the root causes of the issues.
Collaborate with relevant teams or stakeholders to rectify the integration problems.
Implement corrective measures to ensure accurate and reliable data reconciliations.
Data integrity testing and fixes, including, but not limited, to income, fee checks and tax checks.
Perform tests and checks to verify the accuracy and integrity of the data.
Focus on specific areas such as income calculations, fee calculations and tax related data.
Execute test cases and checks based on the defined plan.
Compare data across different sources to ensure consistency
Identify any anomalies or errors in the data and work towards resolving them.
Ensure all data integrity checks are completed accurately and timeously.
Establish a systematic process to conduct data integrity checks.
Ensure that the checks cover all relevant aspects of the data.
Adhere to a defined timeline to complete the checks in a timely manner.
Document the results of the checks and address any identified issues promptly.
Assist with system testing when required.
Collaborate with the testing team to develop test scenarios and plans.
Execute test cases to verify the functionality and performance of the system.
Report any defects or issues encountered during testing.
Work with the team to resolve identified problems and retest as necessary.
Manage Wrap funds make sure models are correct and investigate any issues
Verify the accuracy of the investment models used for the funds.
Collaborate with investment managers or analysts to ensure the correct models are applied.
Allocate and clear bulk contract residual balance.
Handle the allocation and clearance of residual balances related to bulk contracts or transactions.
Analyze the contract terms and financial records to determine the appropriate allocation of residual amounts
Coordinate with relevant parties, such as clients or counterparties, to resolve any outstanding residual balances.
Ensure static data related to tax reporting is accurate.
Maintain and update static data related to tax reporting requirements.
Review the accuracy of client or account information relevant to tax reporting.
Implement processes to periodically validate and reconcile tax-related static data.
Assist with adhoc operational projects.
Support the execution of various operational projects or initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Perform assigned tasks or responsibilities as part of the project team.
Provide insights or recommendations based on your expertise and observations
