Our client, Logistics solutions company, is looking for a
Senior Supply Chain Analyst. The analyst will form part of the continuous improvement team based at their client. The aim of the team to provide LLP Operations and the client with the relevant reports, information and decision support to assist in operations and cost saving initiatives and identify, test and implement cost saving initiatives (route planning and transport related)***
Previous experience:***- Key accounts management experience relating to logistics contract management specifically within the FMCG and retail spaces;

  • Principle/ vendor relationship management.
  • Management of Customer Service Stakeholder relationships.
  • Business development experience relating to logistics/ distribution contracts
  • Distribution or planning relating to large scale retailers in South Africa.

Qualifications, skills required

  • BCom Logistics or Finance with Honours from a reputable institution as a minimum
  • 56 years' experience in Supply Chain or any other business or commercial field
  • Supply Chain and Project Management experience with a logistics company will be beneficial
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (Build Models)
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
  • Analytical
  • Operational labour optimization
  • Warehousing experience
  • Project management experience
  • SQL experience (beneficial)
  • Transport routing and scheduling experience (beneficial)

Ad hoc analysis, queries and business support


Nature of position

  • Permanent
  • Willing to work extended hours
  • Onsite/Hybrid at Eastport Logistics Park
