Requirements:


  • A relevant B degree in business/finance/urban planning/
engineering/transport planning/law

  • Minimum eight (8) years' appropriate experience in planning,
implementation and operation of business initiatives of a

strategic nature, from a mid-level to senior-level position

  • Experience relevant to planning, implementation/operation
of initiatives with relevance to one or more of the Key

Performance Areas (KPAs) below

  • Proven familiarity with business / financial modelling
processes and ability to interpret model outputs /results

in order to structure and refine business models and

business plans preferred

multidisciplinary environment to ensure appropriate integration,

alignment and interface in business planning processes

preferred

  • Ability to operate with a high level of independence.
Key Performance Areas

  • Colead the Urban Mobility directorate's business planning
function by developing business strategies, undertake

scenario planning, prepare business and investment plans,

develop business and financial models, review operational

and infrastructure plans

  • Conceptualise, develop, cost and test alternative service
delivery models for various services

  • Develop business plans, business case assessments,
models and procedures for projects and programmes

falling within transport

  • Identify business risks and developing strategies to adequately
address those risks

  • Identify and develop business opportunities within Urban
Mobility's strategic objectives

  • Conceptualise, organise, plan and manage processes
relating to contracts and tenders

  • Develop and establish transversal relationships with key
internal and external stakeholders

  • Manage / supervise staff.
