Requirements:

Relevant First degree or BTech in Finance or

Business Management

Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience of which at least 2 must

be in a SAP Support environment

Computer Literacy
MS Office Applications, SAP, SAP Portal, GRC
Valid code EB driving license

Key Performance Areas

Liaises with all operational Branches in the compilation of

information

Research and development of business structures and

mechanisms for liberalising energy supply solutions

Tracking and projecting of cost basis for supplyside and storage

technologies and screening of viability of new energy technologies

e.g. PV, fuel cells, batteries

Support markets for the City and private off takers to buy electricity

from renewable independent power producers

Support and enable a framework and provide input into relevant

legislation and city procedures for competitive tendering to

conduct

PPAs with IPPs

Costing and reporting of financial feasibility and risk assessment

models for the city
- owned generation projects

To support business in providing quality reports for approval at

various City of Cape Town committees

To support Jobrelevant Special Projects, Adhoc Investigations in

respect of Audit queries and Data/Information gathering

Assignments in support of the efficiency and effectiveness of the

energy Directorate
