Job Context:


Servest (Pty) Ltd, a Leading Facilities Management Company has a challenging opportunity for Contracts Manager position reporting to the Senior Operations Manager to be based at our Consol Klip Wadeville Site.

The position is for their Cleaning Division.


Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12/Matric Minimum 2-3 years Management experience preferably in the food manufacturing industry Must have experience with HACCP and food safety standards People Management Skills Able to work under pressure Able to work long hours, after hours and some weekends Ability to communicate, motivate, develop, and coach staff at all levels Must have administration skills


Duties & Responsibilities:

To maintain a professional image at all times as the company's representative.

To ensure that client expectations are met and exceeded within the provisions of the contract.

Ensure that all staff is on duty. Report any absenteeism to the Operations Manager.

Daily inspection of public areas - mornings.

Daily ward and theatre inspections - with inspection forms.

Follow up of inspection from previous day. Ensure that all problem areas were corrected.

Manage time-keeping of staff, no late comings/early departures and that tea and lunch times are adhered to.

Disciplinary action - up to second written warning.

Casuals taken to designated areas, introduced to managers and orientated. Job descriptions to be explained to casual.

Evaluation of casuals.

Adherence and maintenance of Company Health and Safety Policies.

Training and maintenance of Servest Infection Control Policies and Procedures.
