Description

We are looking for an experienced corporate account director with strong social media skills and who has solid experience working on medium and large clients who is ambitious and eager to join Eclipse Communications.


The account director:

social media is responsible for:

Managing and growing the social media stream in the corporate centre of excellence (people and clients)
Managing the financial performance of the stream
Delivering and leading the delivery of excellent client service by the social media team
And, conceptualising, leading, and executing innovative and game-changing social media campaigns
Support line manager on new business


Requirements:

At least five years of experience working on social media and digital campaigns
At least two years of experience in a leadership role (included in overall experience)
At least two years of experience in client service (included in overall experience)
A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field
A track record of conceptualising and executing successful social media campaigns (success is defined as achieving the objective of the campaign)
The ability to manage and work well with a team


Creative skills:

The ability to conceptualise social media strategies for brands and organizations
The ability to translate strategic goals into creative concepts and tactics
Strong content-creation and story-telling skills
Innovative problem-solving skills are a must


Social media skills:

Strong working knowledge of the social media landscape
An understanding of key social media metrics and how to measure and report on them
A technical grasp of popular platforms and the use of third-party tools in social media management
Social media certifications are an advantage


Leadership and team-building skills:

Maintain a collaborative and accountable team culture
Mentor and nurture a growing team
Lead the career development of team members
Streamline workflows to manage deadlines and priorities
Lead the team to work strategically, and upskill team members where necessary
Track and monitor the financial performance of the division
Work with the Centre's leadership team


Client Service skills:

Lead a responsive and delivery-focused client service culture
Win the trust and confidence of our discerning and valued clients
Conceptualize and pitch ideas to new and existing clients
