Enrolled Nurse - Durban, South Africa - AHRI
Description
The purpose of this role is for the Enrolled Nurse to be primarily responsible for recruiting, screening, consenting, enrolling of research study participants, sample collection and blood draws.
The Enrolled Nurse will be expected to follow procedures according to study protocols and to provide high quality clinical care to participants and other clients as appropriate in support of AHRI's scientific agenda.
Overview of Duties
1. Provide appropriate care to study participants as per SANC Scope of practice.
2. Complete study documentation accurately.
3. Ensure that study enrolment and retention targets are achieved and maintained.
4. Actively participate in counselling, health education and participants' advocacy.
5.
Follow well defined service quality standards, health and safety policies, guidelines and procedures relating to the work being undertaken o ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
