Job Summary:
Do you want to join one of the biggest JSE-listed Commercial Property Developers?


Our client is a leading South African real estate business who specialise in the investment into high yielding commercial, retail and industrial assets both locally and abroad.

With an existing multi-billion-rand portfolio, this dynamic company manages all their assets in-house to ensure their tenants receive A-grade services.


With capacity in their Johannesburg based team, they are currently looking to appoint an ambitious and detail-oriented Corporate External Reporting Manager.

Your main responsibility will be to process the monthly consolidation for both the national and international entities while leading a reporting team.

A qualified CA (SA) your duties will include but are not limited to overseeing year-end and half-year-end financial statements, preparing information for year-end audits, presenting to the Audit Committee, implementing better financial controls and working alongside the team in relation to IFRS, preparing valuations of assets as well as preparing quarterly board and subcommittee submissions.


This unique and exciting role will see you supporting the Finance Department in the ownership of the Group's external reporting processes under IFRS.

As such, the successful incumbent will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:


  • CA (SA) qualification
  • At least 5 years' post articles experience
  • At least 3 years' experience in financial reporting
  • A sound understanding consolidated financial statement preparation
  • A sound understanding of corporate governance, JSE Listings Requirements and Companies Act legislation
