SERVEST SECURITY AND TECHNOLOGY, A BUSINESS UNIT OF SERVEST HAS VACANCIES FOR A SAFETY OFFICER BASED IN SECUNDA. MUST BE PSIRA GRADE B WITH KNOWLEDGE OF MINE HEALTH & SAFETY ACT (MHSA).
Minimum Requirements:
- PSIRA Grade B
- Grade1
- Driver's License
- Formal Safety Training
- Defensive Driving
- Computer Literacy
- Mine Health & Safety Act (MHSA)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implement and ensure maintenance of safety systems, standards and procedures
- Safety internal and external audits
- Safety systems training
- Safety database maintenance
- Safety audit reports
- Incident investigations and inquiries
- Accident / incident reports
- Safety and Risk initiatives
- Legal compliance and audit reports
- Analysis reports
- Accident control register
- Monitoring of emergency preparedness programmes
- Check compliance to safety systems
- Check corrective actions status
