- Provide technical support for the Tender team, exploring solutions for customer requirements based on the product portfolio.
- Actively participate in all proposal phases, analyzing customer requests and their technical feasibility.
- Interface daily with engineering, supply chain, and project management departments for project-specific inputs.
- Work independently to complete tasks, taking accountability and responsibility in a hybrid work environment.
- Assist team members with sales support, including developing client proposals and pitch mechanics.
- Deliver sales presentations to clients, designing and developing presentations.
- Improve negotiations and contract closing by supporting the Sales Team.
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, external professionals, and consultants.
- Articulate technical capabilities of products, attending and/or performing technical demonstrations.
- Create quotes and sales proposals on behalf of the Sales Team.
- Partner with the sales team to generate leads.
- Accompany sales representatives throughout the sales process, from RFI/RFP to contract negotiation and closing.
- B.Eng/BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Electrical Engineering in an industrialized and/or commercial environment, preferably in Renewable Energy.
- Some pre-sales/sales experience preferred.
- In-depth understanding of contracts and legal compliance, terms, and conditions.
- Solar PV or BESS experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Word & MS Excel.
- Effective communication skills on all levels.
- Pleasant personality with a "make-it-happen" work ethic.
- South African Citizenship, Clear Criminal Record, Valid Driver's License
