The Transport Controller's primary purpose is to provide fleet support in the Transport department.


He/she will also have to:

  • Manage day to day transport service requirements.
  • Dispatching / Debriefing drivers.
  • Daily tracking reports and updates.
  • First point of contact for drivers.
  • Ensure highest possible customer service levels.
  • Oversee truck drivers and ensure they adhere to procedures

QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE
***- Grade 12 certificate.

  • Minimum 5 years' fleet Controlling experience.
  • Proven knowledge in working with fleet tracking systems.
  • Transport Management qualification
  • Ability to process data quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to work with a sense of urgency in a multitasking environment.
  • Geographical knowledge of Gauteng and surrounding areas.
