RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
***- Validate Job Cards and pricing thereof

  • Convert cost center approvals into MET (Purchase Orders)
  • Assisting Procurement Manager with updates of pricing on stock items
  • Send Purchase Orders to suppliers
  • Vendor Applications follow validation process
  • Validate supplier invoices + delivery notes with MET before sending to finance for capturing
  • Catalogue Receipting
  • Assistance in evaluation of minimum, maximum and reorder levels, capturing and keeping data integrity updated within the procurement and stock modules
  • Requisition Manager (internal ordering system) investigations
  • Assist in cycle counts and annual stock take as verifier
  • Review and track key and bulk commodities
  • Generate and maintain reports
  • General office administration
  • Follow up on open orders with various departments, cancel or close orders if need be

QUALIFYING ATTRIBUTES
***- Grade 12 preferably with Mathematics

  • Ability to work under pressure without supervision
  • Min 23 years' experience in a Procurement/stores environment
  • MS Office intermediate level
  • Fluency in English
  • Exceptional administration skills
  • Computer literate
  • Own reliable transport
  • Dedicated team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Deadline driven
  • Organizational skills
