Description

As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and conducting audits, identifying areas of risk, and developing strategies to mitigate those risks.

You will work closely with clients to understand their financial operations, provide guidance on financial matters, and ensure that their internal controls and processes are adequate and effective.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to manage a team of auditors and provide leadership and support in a friendly and positive manner.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and conduct audits to assess financial controls, operational effectiveness, and compliance with regulations
Identify areas of risk and develop strategies to mitigate those risks
Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement
Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness
Work closely with clients to understand their financial operations and provide guidance on financial matters
Supervise and manage a team of auditors, providing leadership and support
Stay uptodate on industry trends and changes in regulations related to auditing

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification
Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, preferably in the financial services industry
Strong knowledge of auditing standards, regulations, and best practices
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
Strong leadership and team management skills
