This high profile privately owned Game Lodge Villa is the home of a well-known South African artist and socialite.

It is also the holiday residence for overseas guests, friends and relatives of the family based in Holland, central Europe and the UK.

We are in search of a young and enthusiastic Afrikaans speaking lady to take on the duties as Lodge Assistant / House Manageress, Hostess and Villa Manageress to coordinate the daily arrivals, bookings, checking in and rooming of guests, hosting during dinners, assisting with food and beverage management, weekly calendar responsibilities, flight bookings, game drives as well as assisitng with managing the lodge for overseas VIP visitors and owners family visits to the lodge

REQUIREMENTS:

Mother tongue in Afrikaans is essential for all admin duties

A young and energetic individual is needed due to the size and spread of the property and its physical demands / daily activities in covering all areas

Good computer proficiency essential with average to good typing speed

Excellent people and hosting skills

Attending to guests, checking-in and controlling room standards

Previous experience in Lodge Management is very important

Monitoring kitchen prep, liaising with the private chef, sommelier and butler and typing menus for meal times

Exceptional knowledge of international fine dining cuisine standards and signature wines highly beneficial

Support needed on game drives with specific guests, important family groups

Regual visits to local community centers for several special projects supported by the owner.

Regular networking and liaising with Game Reserve personnel, Maintenance, Housekeeping and Security teams.
