Description
Kendrick Recruitment are now seeking a Hotel Manager for a High-end property based in the picturesque Winelands.


Requirements:


  • Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management and Leadership
  • Background in Front Office & Housekeeping/Rooms Division Management
  • International Experience is advantageous
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the same position overseeing the operations of a 5 Star or equivalent luxury hotel winelands area is advantageous
  • Proficient in constructing budgets and forecasts
  • Thorough knowledge of performance management and employee relations

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure worldclass service is delivered to the guest, in all locations, by effectively directing the Hotel Teams on all matters impacting the guest service provision as measured by on
- line reputation metrics and direct guest feedback

  • Responsible for and directs the full operations, service, logistics and activities of the Hotel Team to ensure that the hotel achieves its financial objectives
  • Creates an environment that contributes to highly positive employee engagement and commitment to the job
  • Prepares and proposes the annual budgets
  • Manages the monthly expenses in line with the budgets
  • Manages and directs all aspects relating to staff performance and conduct
  • Responsible for responding to all guest feedback from surveys and agents
