Internship Programme
(Administrative Assistant)
Description:
Minimum Requirements in line with the Programme criteria:
- Minimum qualification: Matric but can be graduates
- Must be a South African citizen
- Age between 183
- Have never held a fulltime position before (this is a First Job opportunity) and preferably have not participated in a learnership or internship before
- Have not completed a First Job Internship Programme before
- Live within 50 kms from our offices/site, which is situated at (Address: 69 Krishna Road, Durban, 4051).
- Are not currently in fulltime studies and able to attend this internship full time.
- No family relations with the host i.e., TREE-ECD
- Computer literacy and driver's license
- Must be comfortable travelling in the rural communities
Key Responsibilities include (the intern will be trained on the Programme):
- Uploading of all relevant information into the Smart Start database (High priority)
- Assisting in preparing spreadsheets for Matching Day and PQA Documents.
- Assist in the preparation of training registers, boxes, material and certificates.
- Assist in preparing Smart Start files to be given to franchisees.
- Assist with booking venues and vehicle bookings.
- Assist in preparing play kits for licensing and booking appointments with the franchisees.
- Attend Observation sessions at each stage of the Smart Start Programme at least once in the year
- Prepare pretraining brief and training materials for child progress training
- Assist in the reaccreditation process after 1 year of completion of the stages by each Smart Start club coach
- Ad hoc duties include assisting other departments as and when required

Normal Working Hours: 08:00-16:00 (30 minutes break)
Stipend:
R4815

Internship End Date: 30th June 2025
