- Knowledge of domestic payment streams: Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT), Real Time Clearing (RTC), Real Time Gross Settlement Systems (RTGS) and international Payments.
- Knowledge of SWIFT message standards, SWIFT Service offerings and related systems.
- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions Screening processes.
- Development of base procedures and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of Software development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Maintenance of the technology landscape, including upgrades, patching etc.
- Maintenance and monitoring of the Payments Platforms.
- Responding to SNOW tickets – Ownership of the incident until resolved.
- Working with the team to fix recurring incidents.
- Passionate about technology and a view of developing trends in the Payments industry.
- Ability to work unaccompanied once given tasks and interact with people from all areas of Investec.
