Our national client in the FMCG industry requires your qualifications and experience as a combination Forklift and Reach Truck Operator for their production site in Montague Gardens, Cape Town.

Please note you need to have both an F1 & F5 Valid Operator license.


SCOPE AND GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:To ensure all raw material flavours and small ingredients are correctly dispensed and decanted as per requirement. Ensure all premixes and solutions are processed and send to the lab for approval. Ensure production receive correct material in time and on time to meet the set targets in order to full fill our customers demand or need.


POSITION REPORTS TO:
Raw Material Stores Supervisor


DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Duties

  • Proper Stock Control
  • Correct Picking and processing of premixes
  • Avoid cross contamination
  • Split flavour and small ingredients
  • Complete daily cycle counts
  • Correct record keeping, i.e. complete bin transfer sheets, unplanned and inventory issue forms.
  • All small and flavour items clearly marked and sealed.
  • Proper dispensing
  • Interpret the plan
- and align the picking activity to stay ahead of the actual processing (ongoing throughout shift)

  • Prepare and makeup of chemicals


  • Housekeeping

  • Clean and tidy at all times

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Skills / competencies

Experience, Qualifications and other requirements specific to the role

  • Matric Certificate
  • Computer Literacy
  • 2 Years Stores experience
-
Valid Forklift and reach truck license

Shift Patterns:

  • Morning: 06h30 15h30
  • Afternoon: 14h00 23h00
  • Night: 22h00 07h00


Please note that this is an outsourced position and you will be employed by us as the agency and assigned to the client for the duration of your contract.


Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary

Contract length: 3 months


Salary:
R37,80 per hour

Expected hours: 42.50 per week
