A multinational Investment Company is seeking an Events Co-ordinator.

The Co-ordinator will be expected to deliver on industry leading events and sponsorship initiatives that supports the company's sales teams nationally.

This role will take responsibility for the logistics, planning and managing of client engagements and events, both face-to-face and virtual.


Please note that this is for a 6-month Fixed Term Contract for maternity cover, with the possibility of joining the team in a more permanent role afterwards, that will support another business unit within the Company Group.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Degree/Diploma in Marketing
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in an Events coordinator / Events planning role within a financial services company
  • Experience with implementing and managing inperson & virtual events

Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Plan, manage and coordinate the logistics for all client engagements and events, including facetoface and virtual events nationally:
  • Ensure events deliver on company brand and client experience standards
  • Work with institutional and retail business development teams to create annual client engagement plan
  • Where applicable, source and recommend suitable venues
  • Select and liaise with external suppliers to ensure the delivery of highquality outputs
  • Prepare a detailed budget for all events, and followup with approval
  • Manage the invitation process with digital marketing and ensure signoff by internal stakeholders
  • Provide a postevent analysis, which includes budget recon and that highlights key learnings to be applied to future events
  • Fulfil the role as the primary contact for all industry events, this includes the company's participation in the larger Company Group sponsorships:
  • Manage deadlines for all branded material, business information and payments
  • Coordinate with marketing team and business stakeholders on the creation or sourcing of any marketing brochures, video recordings or branded material as required for a sponsorships and industry events
  • Brief external service providers, as and when required, to complete work in support for sponsorships
  • Procure promotional and branded items for the company that are aligned with the brand standards:
  • Build a network of suppliers for branded gifts and items
  • Work with business stakeholders to establish promotional item and gifting needs
  • Remain abreast of new gifting ideas and concepts
  • Provide logĂ­stical support for internal events, this could include, but not limited to:
  • Staff events and strategy sessions
  • External catering sourcing and procurement
  • Room or venue bookings
  • Guest speaker confirmations and logistics
  • General:
  • Ensure staff biographies are updated
  • Update and circulate the corporate calendar
  • Remain abreast of trends as it relates to events, venues, promotional items, catering etc
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all key stakeholders
