Job Advert Summary:


Our client, a leader in the private healthcare industry, is urgently looking for a
Registered Nurse (RN) / Professional Nurse (PN) with proven
THEATRE SCRUB experience_._
This is for
night shifts from 1 feb 2023 until the end of Dec 2023 and it is not a contract position, but for
fixed shifts at a private facility in
CapeTown in the Western Cape.


Minimum Requirements:


  • Current registration with SANC
  • Prior scrubbing experience is essential
  • A qualification in Operating Theatre Nursing Science will be an advantage
  • Management of surgical equipment and instruments
  • Sound knowledge of Scientific Nursing Process, nursing activities and procedures as per Scope of Practice
  • Ability to identify, prevent and manage medicolegal risks and adverse events
  • Competent in the demonstration and assessment of relevant clinical procedures
  • Must be available from 1 February 2023

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Executes duties and responsibilities according to scope of practice
  • Theatre duties and responsibilities
  • Delivers quality nursing care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
