  • The focus will be on building supply, with a strong financial background to report to suppliers / transporters from a financial / query side regarding payment advice, POD documents, standardise how we receive documents, negotiate payment terms etc.

Qualifications:


  • Relevant Degree/Diploma. Strong financial/creditors background
  • At least 5yrs in a Transport environment.
  • Understanding/experience of road transport, specifically bulk Agri/Mining/Fertilizer.
  • Adaptable to deal with all sorts of transport personalities on a formal and informal scale.
  • Key accounts (supplier, not customer) management.
  • Gain a quick understanding of each marketer's book, understand routes/allocations etc.
  • Prepared to be available for cell phone queries and problem solving after office hours.
  • Willing to travel.
