Fleet Operations Manager

We are a car rental company based in Johannesburg looking for a Fleet Operations Manager to work in our offices based in Halfway House, Midrand.

We offer long-term rental solutions to our clients (Corporate & Individuals).

We are looking for a Fleet Operations Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our company's fleet of vehicles.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain daily operations of the business to achieve agreed performance targets effectively and efficiently, within budget and timescales.
Oversee the maintenance of Asset Register, Customer & Vehicle Allocations
Coordinating with operation department to ensure proper maintenance of vehicles.
Ensuring that drivers are trained on company policies and procedures prior to operating company vehicles.
Managing vehicle licenses and registration.
Ensure all vehicles are insured.
Operational Incident management.
Inspires, leads, develops, and motivates a team to deliver an excellent user experience to Business and Customers
Continuously seek improvements in processes within the team, function, and the business to continuously improve quality and customer satisfaction.
Manage and control all Fleet Department sales statistics, coordination, and timeous responses to potential clients.
Developing and maintaining a fleet operations policies manual that outlines responsibilities and procedures for all fleet operations staff members.
Maintaining records of fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and other information about the operation of each vehicle in the fleet

- planning and scheduling of daily operations

Oversee the productivity of drivers and their vehicles along with the overall maintenance of vehicles, solving queries, to deliver exceptional service.
