Description
Purpose:
Assisting the Product Manager on the profile of products with administrative tasks, these include but are not limited to: Vendor inventory and sell out reporting and uploading, while keeping company information secure.
Ensuring incoming stock is correctly catalogued for both online and on-prem sales, as well as ETA's being updated for logístical cataloguing.
Assisting Product Manager on product promotions, marketing initiatives and incentives where needed. Managing the workflow of SITA registrations and approvals on product lines approved for use.Maintaining and publishing the brand specific pricelists on a monthly or weekly basis, as the ruling rate of exchange applies.
Responsibilities:
- Drawing weekly or monthly reports as required.
- Help with daytoday sales and contribute to the bottom line.
- Provide accurate updated product content and ensure that the system/ecommerce is updated within a reasonable amount of time.
- Checking purchase orders against purchase confirmations to ensure logístical accuracy.
- Managing open orders with the various sales teams.
- Complete competitive analysis on a monthly basis.
- Creating new product codes and managing consistent code structure
- Assistance with compiling and distribution of pricelists; Update pricelists and system information.
- Checking for errors on the pricelist before sending.
- Understand costings and shipping models and terminology, margin management.
- Cultivate knowledge and thorough understanding of Forex.
- Assist with tenders and quotes, ensuring that all prices are done correctly, and accurate information has been given.
- Provide solutions and resolve problems and issues in a reasonable amount of time.
Qualification and Experience:
- Matric
- A tertiary qualification in marketing/sales would be advantageous
- Minimum 1 years' experience in marketing and sales environment at a similar level
