HEAD OF SOLUTIONS

A vacancy exists at The Company (Pty) Limited for Head of Solutions reporting to the Chief Sales Officer

JOB PURPOSE


To direct the Franchise Channel to grow business opportunities and identify key strategic areas in the Solutions and Services space to assist The Company Pty Ltd in becoming the leading Total Workspace Provider.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Design a strategy that allows The Company to grow across all our Solutions and Services, to ensure uptake within the The Company Channel network to grow not only software solutions, but overall solutions to create a substantial and sustainable annuity revenue stream.
  • Identify strategic opportunities and new ways to grow Solutions and Services revenue across the The Company Product stack.
  • Accountable to ensure that The Company meet's and exceed the solutions and services revenue and profit budgets.
  • Maximize sales performance on monthly sales budgets, targets, and goals.
  • Ensure close collaboration between the Pre and Post Sales team within The Company.
  • Ensure that there is a sufficient technical understanding of all The Company's solutions products within the Franchise Channel.
  • Protect and increase the profitability of the sales revenue stream within current Customers and New Customers.
  • Ensure a deep understanding of market trends, competitor positioning and offerings, key drivers of the business as well as industry best practise.
  • Build out the IoT stack in order to ensure remote services, monitoring and the commercial enablement of service level agreements across the product stack in collaboration with the Service Delivery Team.
  • Ensure enablement focus on other services including but not limited to Office 365, Back-Up Services, Security Services and Offsite Monitoring Services.

SCOPE OF IMPACT:


  • Craft and deliver a strategic outlook regarding a The Company Services and Solution stack.
  • Ensure Solutions are actively promoted through the regional sales teams.
  • Ensure that the team demonstrates The Company's solutions understanding and capability in customer facing situations.

RELATIONSHIP BUILDING & NETWORKING:


  • Internal: Executives, Sales, Finance, Product, HR, Service Delivery, IT, Project Office.
  • External: Franchise Holders, Customers, Service Providers, OEM's, etc.

MINIMUIM REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:

***- Relevant National Diploma / Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in managed services
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in consultative selling & solution sales.
  • Must have a minimum of 8 years Pre and Post Sales management experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Services Consulting.
  • A professional presence, vocabulary and communication skills are essential.
  • Sound business acumen with a good understanding of the overall business and industry sector.
  • Strong commercial background with a proven senior management history.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and develop a managed service division.
  • Individual should be equally comfortable in a Boardroom meeting, as they are working with endusers and IT specialist.
  • Full understanding of best practice solutions selling and the management of channel together with technology.
  • Sound business acumen with a good understanding of the overall business and industry sector.
