Introduction_

The Facilities Management Team is looking for a general worker that will assist the team members with ad-hoc maintenance tasks which includes specialized paint work.

Minimum Requirements_

Valid grade 12 certificate
Valid vehicle driver's license (will be an advantage)
3 years facilities and maintenance experience
Minimum of 2 years
Basic knowledge about Facility Management and building maintenance
Knowledge about Health and Safety

Willingness to learn
Assist with adhoc projects as allocated by the Director and Engineer
Install, modify, and repair various contractors' fences at all building sites around estate
Cutting grass, weeds and tree felling on various MES and Bondev stands / Property

General maintenance (locks, handles, paving, glass repairs etc.)
Basic plumbing (repair leaks, replace geyser valves, repair toilet seats, flush units and unblock sewage and drains)
Repairs on perimeter walls and electric fencing

Proactive maintenance

Control Veld fire
Filling of generators with diesel in preparation for loadshedding
Responsible for maintenance of street pole frames
Removal of illegal advertising boards around estate
Applies health and safety procedures
