General Manufacturing Manager - Cape Town, South Africa - MAST Recruitment
Description
Job functions to include:
Lead and direct the factory, its assets, the budgets, resources, it's people as well as sales to achieve planned budgeted output in all SKU's.
Identify, engage and secure new markets for the business to expand the product outlet.
Working closely with Procurement, Finance, Marketing, Sales and Human Resources to ensure optimal plant operations.
Monitoring finished stock and eliminate over-stocking / under-stocking.
Planning and leading productivity improvements in the short and long term.
Developing and growing the business through new customers.
Utilise internal and external expertise to develop new product lines.
Leading the preparation of the annual budget for the whole plant.
Reviewing the actual costs against budget monthly.
Strong people management ability
A Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy and or Engineering and or Commerce and or Business Administration or an acceptable equivalent is required.
At least 10 years relevant Management/General Management experience in a similar function would be advantageous.
SAHPRA knowledge and expertise is essential to ensure regulations and requirements are met.
