Join a leading company in the manufacturing industry as a Production Manager This role, based in Chloorkop, Midrand, offers a chance to oversee end-to-end manufacturing processes and ensure top-quality standards are met.


Key Objectives

:


  • Plan and oversee manufacturing processes efficiently.
  • Maintain highquality standards and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

:


  • Conduct accurate production planning for stock maintenance.
  • Incorporate sales forecasts into planning and address critical issues promptly.
  • Manage production schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate with Procurement for raw material availability.
  • Collaborate with Dispatch for timely stock delivery.
  • Work with Quality to maintain product standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Manage faultfinding process for product deviations.
  • Monitor production, resolve issues, and escalate when necessary.
  • Schedule equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Manage production team scheduling and productivity.
  • Train and support production staff.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Implement improvements for efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate workflow procedures.
  • Analyze budgets and control production costs.

Experience and Qualifications

:

Relevant degree/diploma (e.g., BSc Eng Industrial / Cost and Management Accounting).

Minimum 10 years' production management experience.

  • Strong communication, numeracy, and computer literacy skills.
  • Excellent people management and problemsolving abilities.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on customer satisfaction.
