Position Title

Senior Business Support Administrator (Fixed Term)

Location

KZN Sands (Central Processing Complex, CPC)

Position Overview

This position will provide support to the Contracts team and relevant stakeholders with regards to Contract Management.

The Senior Business Support Administrator will create and update SAP contracts; prepare General Notices relating to contracts; responsible for allocated contracts commodity portfolio (contract life cycle management); administrative assistance when required.

Provides co-ordination and administrative services, plus guidance and advise staff members. Ensures that an efficient co-ordination and administrative service is delivered at all times to support business activities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of contracts in SAP as required.
  • Issuing of General Notices relating to Contracts as required.
  • Assisting the Regional Supply Chain Director with contract related duties and administration.
  • Management of commodity portfolio that includes:
  • Issuing of tenders to prospective vendors
  • Evaluation of tenders to determine commercial competitiveness.
  • Drafting of contract documents to ensure that the company receives optimum competitive advantage, exposed minimum risk, minimize loss, and include continuous improvement objectives.
  • Maintaining existing contracts by ensuring that amendments are done timeously and in such a way that the company maintains abovementioned benefits of the contracts.
  • Negotiate contract price adjustments and maintain long term sustainable contractor and company relationships, while securing optimum prices for the company.
  • Accurate documentation of meeting minutes to capture discussion, decisions, and action steps for all attendees.
  • Researches, collates, extracts, and/or summarizes data and produces standard reports, schedules, summaries, and letters.
  • Follows data management processes using company systems to ensure ease of access to uptodate information.
  • Prepares documents and extracts data to support the business unit/function in daytoday administration and operations and ensure confidentiality.
  • Receives and follows up complaints relevant to function to maximize effectiveness of departmental unit.
Qualifications & Experience

  • National Diploma in Business/Commercial field NQF
  • A valid code 08 RSA driver' s License (Code B)
  • SAP knowledge will be an advantage
  • Min 1 years work in the commercial/supply chain functions
  • Computer Literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) (mandatory)
