Position Overview:


To provide an effective warranty claims analysis and validation service, advice and support to ensure business and dealer operational compliance within specific rules and policies.


Specific Role Responsibilities:

Process

  • Accurately and timeously analyse, evaluate and validate warranty claims according to policy and guidelines.
  • Manager and control rental requests, enabling accurate rental split information.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures and guidelines within the area of accountability.
  • Manage and monitor dealer warranty claims, mitigating risk.
  • Deliver work activities in a professional manner consistent with company values.
  • Identify and develop solutions to improve operational service and quality and escalate unresolved issues to management and process owners within network.
  • Identify and develop solutions to improve operational service and quality.
  • Implement and manage endto end process.
  • Manage financial activities in line with approved policies and procedures.
  • Manage first approval rates of denied and/or rejected claims by manufacturer.
  • Report on transactional and process activities to enable timely and effective decision making.

Finance

  • Manage and mitigate financial loss due to denied and/or returned claims by manufacturer, adding financial risk to organization.
  • Execute work activities and manage financial risk in rentals, ensuring no risk to company and network.
  • Ensure finalization of claims for submission of warranty to importer within stated time period.
  • Manage and control campaign claims as per stipulated requirements.
  • Manage financial activities in line with approved policies and procedures.
  • Manage, monitor, report rentals accurately avoid losses.
  • Adhere to organizational and manufacturer policies and procedures avoiding company losses.

  • Advise on and provide support to ensure the effective resolution of network queries to ensure resolution of claims.
  • Assist and build a strong appreciation of network needs and ensure team understanding and adherence to policy principles; aligning where necessary.
  • Assist network to create a culture which aims to meet or exceed expectations in the business.
  • Continuously monitor actual process turnaround times and quality standards.
  • Plan, manage and monitor processes, enabling efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Matric Certificate
  • Valid Drivers License
  • 3 5 Years experience as a Warrnty Analyst or in a Similar environment
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the automotive industry
