Job Title:
Warehouse and Distribution Manager (Automotive Industry)

Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations:

Oversee daytoday warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
Implement and optimize efficient warehouse processes to improve overall productivity.
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), with specific expertise in Odoo, for inventory control and order processing.

Team Management:

Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
Set performance targets and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure team goals are met.

Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
Implement and enforce best practices for inventory accuracy and organization.

WMS Expertise:

Possess indepth knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, particularly Odoo.
Implement and customize WMS functionalities to meet the specific needs of the organization.
Stay updated on the latest WMS trends and technologies.

Core Return and Remanufacturing:

Understand core return and remanufacturing processes within the automotive industry.
Develop and implement efficient procedures for handling core returns and coordinating remanufacturing processes.
Collaborate with suppliers and remanufacturing teams to ensure a smooth transition of returned cores into the remanufacturing process.

Performance Analysis:

Analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Generate regular reports on warehouse performance, core return processes, and remanufacturing workflows.

Compliance and Safety:

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Implement and maintain procedures for safe handling of products within the warehouse.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Warehouse and Distribution Manager, preferably within the automotive industry.
Expertise in using Warehouse Management Systems, with a strong preference for experience with Odoo.
Familiarity with core return and remanufacturing processes.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
