Tax Manager overseeing the tax side of the practise which includes the supervision of the Tax Admin Manager and her assistant.

My duties are the reviewing of income tax returns and compiling the tax calculations from the accounting department in order to complete the returns,
- the compiling of tax calculations from Balance Sheet for the audit department and completing the income tax returns for Companies, Trusts and Individuals on efiling.

Insuring that objections are being done in line with the Tax Administration Act.
Completion of the Dividend Tax forms and normal flow of work.
Review provisional tax calculations that SARS penalties are not being charged.
Attending to Vat objections and assist the accounting department with VAT related queries Assisting the Accounting department to PAYE related queries and recons and structuring of salary packages.
Assisting with the tax queries from SARS. Keeping up to date with the tax legislation. Researching implications of tax laws on certain group related companies and trusts.
Delivering on commitments made to client and partners. Adhering to deadlines opposed by SARS in respect of tax compliance activities.
Also part of the consulting team with regards to compiling tax structures.
Application of Foreign Investments.
Providing training where needed. Manage the billing process and wip.
