Rental Sales Manager


We are a car rental company based in Johannesburg looking for a Sales Manager to work in our offices based in Halfway House, Midrand.

We offer long-term rental solutions to our clients (Corporate & Individuals).

We are looking for a Sales Manager who will be responsible for the success of our company's sales department.

You will be responsible for meeting our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative.


Responsibilities

  • Manage sales department and ensure the reaching of targets / goals as per requirement with sales team.
  • Develop new business and manage existing clients / customer relationships through sound interpersonal approaches and actions.
  • Generate Quotations for prospective clients or for enquiring clients.
  • Build strong credible databases of potential Clientele and follow through on these.
  • Marketing of rental vehicles in Corporate Businesses, etc.
  • Ensure that monthly targets are met.
  • Assist clients in selecting suitable vehicle models that better meets their needs and specification.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to management on sales activities and realized profits.
  • Ensure to inspect and prepare all cars that are requested by clients prior to delivery.
  • Arrange delivery of vehicles with the relevant departments.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ensure to promote and protect the Company Image and brand.
  • Ensure that sales reports managed through systems and tracking.

Requirements:


  • Qualification within sales (advantageous)
  • 5 years' experience in Sales (preferred).
  • Computer Literacy (including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)


  • Communication Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with regional stakeholders regarding fleet & resource management.


  • Analytical Skills

  • Ability to problem solve multiple issues and complex scenarios.
  • Ability to close sales.
