Human Resources Administrator - Sandton, South Africa - Kingdom Blue
Description
Your main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents- Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
- Preparing and processing employees' monthly payroll, bonuses, leave management, manage any deductions from salary, payslips, Calculations of overtime, incentives and commissions. Handle all queries and Payroll Reports.
- Arrange new employee onboarding, prepare offer documentation, and conduct orientation sessions.
- Complies with all statutory and legal requirements and advising management on needed actions
- Understands all HR policies, procedures, guidelines, communicates and reinforce organization values
- Ensure that the management and staff adhere to all legislation regarding the Basic Conditions of Employment act, Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity Act, Skills Development Act and any other applicable legislation
- Ensure that management and staff have access to all the company policies and that all procedures and practices within the company are in line with policy guidelines
- Grade 1
- Relevant qualification
- Valid driver's license and own transport
- Must be able to start 07:30 am daily
- 06 months of proven work experience in personnel administration within an insurance company and/or bachelor's degree in human resources, Administration, or Law
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Experience in organizing and prioritizing a busy workload
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Experience in using Pastel system
- Excellent local language and good business English language skills
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Sandton, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Diploma (preferred)
