Description
Our Client is in need of an experienced Extraction Plant Manager to joint their dynamic team in Witbank.Requirements:
- Bachelor''s Degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.
- 5 to 10 years experience in a Pyrometallurgical Operation preferably Rotary Kiln Operations.
- MDP will be an advantage.
- Divers license and own vehicle.
- Computer Literacy (MS Office and Suite)
- Supervisory / Leadership Training.
You will be responsible for:
- Ensure adherence to Safety Procedures and PPE requirements.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and legislative Safety requirements by maintaining appropriate practices, standards and procedures.
- Ensure identification and stopping of unsafe work practices.
- Report any safety related incidents, and accidents.
- Support the works manager by providing strategic direction.
- Be responsible for innovation and for design and implementation of change initiatives.
- Ensure high quality of production output.
- Draft the annual production, labour and cost budget.
- Control the budget and expenditure.
