We are seeking a Legal Officer for a permanent vacancy based in Bellville, Western Cape.

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria in full:

Paralegal qualification with at least 2 years relevant legal experience and good computer literacy

Familiar with litigation proceedings, Rules of the High Court and Magistrate's Court and Company Law, The National Credit Act and Consumer Protection Act

Excellent negotiation and communication skills and knowledge / experience of both liquidations and sequestrations
***:

Knowledge of conveyancing advantageous

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:***-
Managing the bad debt and active legal control portfolios
***:
-
Managing the litigations process
***:
-
Brief attorneys to institute litigation, liquidation and sequestration proceedings
***:
-
Liaise and negotiate settlements and payment arrangements
***:
-
Liaise with liquidators and auctioneers
***:
-
Attend to cancellation of securities
***:
-
Manage repossessed property portfolio
