  • As an External Sales Representative, you are responsible for the promotion, marketing and sales of company products and services to clients and potential customers outside the company premises.
  • This entails taking products/services to clients at their workplace and homes to boost sales and increase customer base. You are responsible to develop and employ various customer sales strategies such as home visits and distribution of promotional company products.

Duties:


  • Contact leads as soon as possible to close sales(within 2 hrs of receiving lead from the sales manager)
  • Develop and implement customer sales strategies necessary for efficient sales.
  • Interact with clients to identify their needs and product specifications
  • Take products/services to clients at their workplace, homes and recreation spots
  • Generating quotations to customers on time within the 1 day of meeting onsite
  • Conduct surveys to identify potential customers to a product/service
  • Offer client products which can meet their requirments
  • Contact suppliers for availability of stock (for quote confirmation)
  • Develop and maintain cordial working relationships with customers to boost sales and increase clientele
  • Provide customers with explanations on products/services features
  • Help address and resolve customer complaints and issues
  • Work in line with company policies and regulations when carrying out sales operations
  • Document interaction with customers using CRM systems to ensure efficient management of leads
  • Professionally execute field sales operations to boost company image and public outlook
  • Conduct sales negotiation with clients to strike a favourable bargain for both the company and client
  • Monitor the sales industry to identify changes in customer demand and preference
  • Supply projects department with technical drawings/plans/images for approved projects within 1 day from acceptance to avoid installation delay
    Inherent Requirements
  • Target driven Sales Executive with proven history of reaching and exceeding sales targets.
  • Minimum 3 years previous work experience as a solar sales consultant.
  • Own Vehicle is a must
