Meet all agreed monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.

  • Prospect for and register new business accounts as per defined target.
  • Regain and grow any existing customer accounts that may be handed over.
  • Engage new and existing customers (physically or virtually) in the prescribed manner as defined by management monthly external meeting target to be achieved.
  • Formulate and document specific customer sales strategies per customer
  • Meticulously populate and update all CRM (HubSpot) and utilize this tool to generate and manage customer interactions.
  • Maximize all sales opportunities on all products & services in every account (should tie back to the account strategy).
  • Facilitate the effective procurement of products associated with each quotation proposal.
  • Report on all opportunities and activities as defined and instructed by the Sales Manager (weekly pipeline document to be submitted).
  • Ensure your assigned Sales Support Consultant(s) is carrying our his/her duties effectively and professionally with all nominated accounts.
  • Maintain the agreed upon service levels to all customers always.
  • Be a brand ambassador for the velocity group and represent the company in a professional manner always.
  • Be involved in tracking your customers payment trends and assisting in the effective debtors collections.
  • Attend and complete all required sales/product training as communicated by management, as well as appropriate selfeducation and learning.
  • Acquire new business via the process of prospecting, identifying and targeting appropriate corporate accounts.
Effectively explain the value offering of velocity and position this against the needs of the customer Hybrid IT

  • Regain and grow an existing set of corporate accounts (if available), in conjunction with primary new business acquisition.
  • Tenaciously create and work all opportunities to successful conclusion, via a dedicated & documented sales plan.
  • Execute the prescribed sales activities diligently and/or produce results in line with your GP target plan.
  • Be strategically involved in the sales fulfilment process, including supplier engagement, price negotiations and ultimate project/order delivery.
  • This is an external role AEs are expected to be making 2030 formal customer visits per month (Physical or virtual)
