    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
    Client financial accounting and client liaison

    To develop and deliver services to clients within the industry, to develop and maintain those client relationships as well as suitable financial administration systems which support the services offered.

    The role provides for a full range of financial accounting and administration services. Deliver outstanding, professional client service at all times

    Onboarding and maintenance of client data to internal systems
    Onboarding and maintenance of client details in Pastel
    Processing of debtors and creditors
    Maintenance, processing and reconciling of bank accounts
    Loading payments on various client bank accounts
    Preparation and collation of monthly financial information in the required management reporting template
    Tax administration – assist tax administrator with correspondence with SARS. May be required to visit a local SARS office on an ad-hoc basis
    Preparation of the audit file and facilitation of the annual audit
    Calculation, completion and submission of income tax, provisional tax, VAT and other related statutory returns
    Preparation of annual financial statements
    Gather KYC information on clients and send to internal Compliance Officer for sign off from Group Compliance Department
    Reporting
    Understanding the importance of clear, consistent internal and external communication and reporting
    Detailed, regular internal reporting on all client matters
    Maintenance of personal WIP reports
    Compliance
    Compliance with all local, international and group processes and legislation
    Compliance with latest company, trust and tax legislation
    Compliance with local and Group FICA and AML requirements
    Compliance internal procedures and processes

    Minimum Requirements:
    BCom (Accounting) or similar relevant qualification

    High level of flexibility and willingness to gain exposure in other areas (such as payroll and company secretarial administration)

    Organisational skills, professionalism, flexibility and the ability to prioritise are of utmost importance
