KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*- Formulate, organise and monitor inter-connected projects.

  • Manage a team of project managers and ensure the successful completion of multiple projects within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that projects are aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between project managers and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports to monitor project progress and ensure that project objectives are met.
  • Manage project risks and escalate as necessary to ensure project success.
  • Facilitate project meetings, resolve conflicts, and ensure project teams are aware of project goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure their ongoing satisfaction with the project delivery
  • Proactively managing risks, issues and changes
  • Internal and External project reporting
  • Stakeholder management

REQUIREMENTS

The requirements for the role include the following:

  • Appropriate Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification (NQF 7), Law degree would be advantageous.
  • 35 years proven experience as a Programme Manager or other senior project management position.
  • Ability to attend evening meetings as and when required.
  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software (MS Project etc.) is advantageous.
  • Outstanding leadership and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent problemsolving ability.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, researching, and report writing.
  • Experienced in MS Office Word, Excel, Powerpoint and preferably MS Project.
