REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric, Finance Degree ESSENTIAL
  • Minimum one to years experience working in a finance department
  • Experience with debtors and creditors advantageous
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage the accounting figures and financial records
  • Proficiency in English and in MS Office
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail ESSENTIAL
  • Hours pm, Monday to Friday

DUTIES

  • Managing payments local and foreign
  • Follow all compliance strictly as required
  • Managing the full creditors function
  • Managing internal invoice approvals
  • Tracking parallel products in the region
  • Process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
  • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all invoices and payments are accounted for
  • Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
  • Generate reports detailing accounts payables status
  • Working with expense accounts and cost centers
  • Managing compliance issues around accounts payable processes
  • Checking invoices for payments

Salary:
Negotiable dependent on experience
