    Description

    Our client seeks an HR Officer who will be responsible for supporting the various department heads within the organization in all areas of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, industrial relations, performance management, and compliance with South African labour laws.

    The HR Officer will ensure that HR operations run smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Recruitment and Selection Onboarding and Induction Employee Relations Performance Management Compliance and Record Keeping Training and Development HR Administration Minimum requirements: Matric Valid drivers license Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field advantageous but not mandatory Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HR role, or which at least 1 year must be within the construction or mining industry.

    Strong understanding of South African labor laws and employment regulations/practices Proficiency in MS Office Suite Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Strong organizational and time management skills. High level of emotional intelligence Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel if necessary.
