The IIE's Varsity College, Waterfall Campus has a vacancy for a Lecturer: Cloud Development (Part-Time).**
Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Honours in Information Systems/ Computer Science

Alternatively:

Honours degree with advanced database design or a similarly related field to the thirdyear level.

Minimum Work Experience Required for Cloud Development Lecturer:

Lecturing experience in programming/database.
Familiar with use of T-SQL and SQL Server Management Studio.
Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of the following concepts:
Designing scalable and efficient cloud solutions.
Selfhealing and redundancy
Coordination and Scalability
Partitioning and operations
Analysing business case scenarios with the purpose of presenting the most appropriate cloud service/solution.
Hosting Models In the cloud.
Resilience
Testing
Monitoring and diagnostics
Evaluating cloud security.
Cloud Platforms i.e., Microsoft Azure, Amazon web services
NoSQL database technologies i.e., MongoDB, Google Firebase
Application program interfaces
Git and GitHub

Working Conditions:

Availability to lecture Parttime during the week, between 8am 5pm on campus.
Provide a student support function through consultations, where necessary.
Grade all assessments for assigned classes.
