Our team in Pomona, Johannesburg currently has an opening for a Regional Business Director SSA : Coatings & Construction

Thesuccessful candidate will be accountable to drive top line growth by managingcustomer relationships and sales execution in the Sub-Saharan Africa Region.

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure sales targets are met by proactivelymanaging accounts and fostering strong relationships with customers.
Spearhead the development of high-potentialC+D customers, guiding them towards becoming A+B customers.
Provide leadership to Field and Inside Salesteams, offering motivation, coaching, and defining deployment strategies.
Formulate and implement business planstailored to specific regions, ensuring alignment with overall companyobjectives.
Maintain business performance metrics suchas ideal EBIDA, CRM-level, and Working Capital, while optimizing marginsthrough strategic pricing.
Oversee budgeting, order management,procurement, and inventory control processes.
Identify opportunities for synergy andinnovation, fostering new sales channels and value-added services for bothexisting and prospective customers.
Ensure seamless regional integration ofcentrally coordinated commercial initiatives.
Cultivate strategic relationships with keydecision-makers and influencers within the specific industry.

YOUR PROFILE

Matric or NQF Equivalent.
Degree (e.g. Business, BSC, MBA) or similarlevel of tertiary education)
Minimum 5 years of work experience inselling to large and complex, multi-country/regional customers.
Work Experience in international sectorsettings preferred.
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Be prepared to travel Regionally and /Internationally.
