Who are we:
A digital publishing platform for Pan-African women to share, publish and monetise their stories.


Who are we looking for:

An HR Administrator to support staff with issues that arise, facilitate employee onboarding, help with finance queries and manage the administrative functions of the HR Department.


What will you do:


Admin tasks

  • Onboarding new staff member
  • Provide them with an orientation schedule for the week
  • Organise mandatory HR and Admin introduction sessions
  • Give new team members access to WeWork (key card and keys)
  • Organise laptops for new fulltime staff members
  • Scheduling meetings (including board meetings) and reviews
  • Sit in on staff reviews, board meetings and writers meetings and take minutes
  • Travel arrangements book flights, accommodation, transportation (taxis)
  • Booking couriers
  • Send greeting cards / gifts for the team (work anniversaries, birthdays etc)
  • Organise events and refreshments for office events
  • Staff monitoring timesheet collection and tracking every week, reporting consistent timesheet violations
  • Send out employment contracts to staff and writers
  • Edit and send out brand partnerships contracts
  • Ensure new staff members signs a data protection contract
  • Ensure fulltime staff sign the 40hour weekly working exception document
  • Send appraisal forms and staff questionnaires
  • Keep the HR Drive organised
  • Manage contract filing on contract book

Finance tasks

  • Support the accountants with managing payment and financial queries
  • Liaise with the accountants to resolve payment queries
Forward on payment invoices to the accountants for payments to external suppliers


What do you need:


  • Strong administration, communication and organisation skills
  • High level of confidentiality and willingness to learn
